FS#1024 - Manage the layers of Inkscape
When we want to import a document SVG of Inkscape, copies are not managed.
All the elements contained in the various copies find themselves in one and the same copy 0 in QCad-Prof.
It is necessary to convert the file SVG in DXF before being able to use him(it) in QCad.
It is impractical.
I think this is a restraint with SVG itself and more likely something that Inkscape need to develop, please correct me if I'm wrong but you would have the same issues with AutoCAD and the like!
DXF export in Inkscape is indeed the preferred way to transfer Inkscape SVG files to QCAD.
If you say so!
But the Inkscape software is a software of the very first order in the world of the "free". Qcad also says to be a "free" software and thus, to create a footbridge between both seems so natural for me. It could interest it more of one if we could pass from Qcad to Inkscape and vice(defect) - et-versa without having to convert files.
