FS#1114 - After Linux update: segfault at startup

I’d try to use my qcad today, but cliking the qcad icon had no use. Opened an terminal window and executed whatever was in the icon properties, and it said segfault. Yesterday it worked. There have been an update inbetween, bash have been updated among others.

I’d have dumped uname -a to an file and enclosed it.

I’d have set the severity to critical, cause I’m not able to start qcad at all.

Please ask for any information you need.

Cincerely, Sigmund

Please perform the following checks to provide more information:

  • Make sure that you are using the correct package (64bit package for 64bit Linux).
  • Indicate your exact system (Linux distribution name and exact version thereof).
  • Start QCAD from a terminal and post the complete output.
  • If you have gdb installed, you might want to create a backtrace:

cd /path/to/qcad/installation; LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. gdb ./qcad-bin

  run
  bt

Thanks.
