FS#1176 - Leaders: Arrow Yes/No state not saved

After saving with format R27, the state of the arrow of a leader “Führungslinie” is always No (”Nein”) on loading the file.

I'm unable to reproduce this here with QCAD 3.7.7.
Could you attach a drawing file to demonstrate this problem?
Does this also happen when drawing a leader into a new, empty drawing and saving that?
Thanks.

Sorry for not coming back earlier, life is a bit hectic right now.
On the last drawing the arrow state was never conserved. On a drawing I've done now it works "mostly".
(On a empty drawing, it works fine.)
I could prune the drawing down to the leaders, with consistent behaviour.
For me at least, the arrow of the upper leader is conserved, on the lower one not.

Thanks for the file. I can reproduce the problem with this particular leader indeed. I will look into that.

This appears to be a restriction imposed by the DXF/DWG format on the first segment of a leader:
- A leader only can have an arrow if the first segment is longer than twice the arrow size defined in preferences.

In this drawing, the first segment would have to be at least 5 units long (2 * 2.5), otherwise the leader is dropped by this file format restriction.
It's unfortunate that this is imposed on the file format level. This means that QCAD will have to impose that restriction on the user interface level as well (i.e. arrow cannot be switched on if the first segment is too short).
