FS#1398 - Duplicate zoom buttons in toolbar and menu
I am seeing duplicate zoom buttons in the View toolbar, and also under the View menu. Under Application Preferences→General→Tool Settings there are also multiple entries for these, with Shortcuts and Commands highlighted in red (means there are conflicts?). This is the QCAD/CAM version on Linux 32-bit Debian “testing” release. I also tried the same version on Windows 7 64-bit and am not seeing this issue. Screen shots attached.
Can you attach your QCAD3.ini file? It's stored under ~/.config/QCAD. Thanks.
I don't see a .ini in there but there is a .conf. I attached that one.
Another thought just hit me: did you install or copy an update on top (over) an existing installation? If so, please install again, into a new, empty directory. Mixing two versions is never a good idea and can lead to strange behavior like the one you are experiencing.
Yes, I did untar the new version into the existing folder. Let me try again but first I will empty the folder.
That fixed the problem. Thank you!
No problem, glad it's fixed.
