When file was saved and closed, layers “masse, traits-fins, equerre-ar” were specified “black”. When re-opening QCAD for another session, the color layers were changed to a “custom” dark red. I noticed this happening several times with different files, always those that are black/white.

This is a weird problem, I tried to reproduce it, no success so far...

Could it be that you were saving as DXF ⇐ version 2000? There's a known bug which saves black as a dark red color for layers when exporting to DXF ⇐ 2000. This is because DXF up to version 2000 does not support black as a color. The next release will work around this by saving black layers as white in DXF ⇐ 2000. QCAD by default shows white entities as black if the background is white.

I was using default: R2010. I noticed that problem often on beta versions, more randomly now with RC3.

I am having a recurrent problem with layers specified B/W, line weight has also been altered in some instances, it only seems to happen under dxf format. dwg seems to have a correct behavior. I attached two files of the same drawing saved at the same moment under the two formats. (Win 7-64)
