DetailsIn the attached drawing (top figure) I created an hatch “Solid Fill”. I have saved, reopen and the “Solid Fill” is not present! No problem (bottom figure) with other types of hatch. It’s possible to have a workaround? Is urgent for terminate work.
Thank You. |

Same problem with QCAD 3.0 Windows Version
Most likely, this issue is related to the splines in the hatch outline.
Workaround:
- Create a copy of the hatch outline on a separate layer (e.g. "hatch_outline")
- Select the outline on the new layer
- Choose menu Modify - Explode to explode all splines into polylines
- Use the hatch tool on this exploded outline
- Save drawing
Thank You Andrew for your answer.
With Windows XP + QCAD version 3.0 it's OK with this workaround (without any layer modification):
- Explode outline (splines → polylines)
- Hatch tool on exploded outline
- Save drawing
I have to try on Mac.
With QCAD 3.0 RC2 the workaround not work! Polylines are always referred to as open.
You have another solution?
It's possible replace the file "hatch.js" (RC2) with the "hatch.js" 3.0 Final?
