I'm aware of this. The quality of the underlying Qt libraries is degrading unfortunately. It might have to do with all the recent transitions it has gone through. I will likely have to roll back to Qt 4.7 for the next snap shop / release.
I recommend to use the latest stable release 3.0.0 for now and not use the snapshot releases under Windows. Other platforms are not affected as far as I know.

The snapshot release packages for 3.0.6 are now online. These should run stable again since they're linked against Qt 4.7.4.
