FS#840 - File > New from Template: Remember last used folder
Task:
Drawing - New from Template ...
My Default Template Folder in “Application Preferences” is on F: (USB Port).
QCAD depicts to C:/Programme/QCAD pro 3.1.2/libraries/templates
(Yes - I started QCAD new after adjusting the default Folder)
Yes agreed, after testing - this is not working for me also!
For me now in 3.1.3 this seems to work OK.
For me yes and no.
I have the choice between the folders regarding "Application preferences" "Load/Save: Templates" list and an NON existing default folder "C:/Programme/QCAD pro 3.1.4/libraries/templates".
QCAD doesn't remember my last choice what means I have always to navigate again to my preferred folder.
The questions now are:
Why is a Path/Folder listed (and always first pointed!) which isn't listed in my "Load/Save: Templates" list? Can I get rid of it?
Is it possible that QCAD will remember the last choice?
I second this, would be nice to have a default template directory similar to a default library path.
If the default template library path was part of the template list one could move the desired default path to the top.
Just tried it and in version 3.15.3.0 on Linux it is also not working as expected.
Changed into a feature request to remember last used folder in File > New from Template.
