FS#853 - Keep selection after undo ...

If I move something and it went wrong I can easily undo the last move and start over without the need of a re-selection.
If I copy something and it went wrong I can undo the last copy but I have to re-select everything again.

It would be nice to keep the once chosen selection in both “undo” situation!

Same with similar functions like rotate etc. ....

On win 7-64

Using the Copy tool requires selection, the 'original' selection stays selected until the tool is terminated - doesn't it ? I can paste my selection and 'undo' as many times as needed but my original always remains selected.
It does for me anyway!

Unless I have miss-understood you here.

I think Husky is referring to the Modify - Move/Copy tool.

Yep - I'm talking about the Move/Copy tool. Indeed - the Clipboard function is extremely powerful but right now out of the question. ;-)
