FS#981 - New tool: Ellipse - Equidistant

Bug or Feature request?

Tool “Parallel” is not working on an intact ellipse. If I explode the ellipse it will work but then it turns out to a Sisyphus task ... ;-)

This might seem trivial but it is not at all. The equidistant curve of an ellipse it NOT another ellipse but another type of curve.
QCAD does not have an algorithm at this point to compute that curve.

Hi Husky
Exploding the ellipse produces a polyline, so the polyline 'offset' tool could be used as a solution here!

@Andrew
Thanks for the info.

@Clive
Good idea - I'll use it until we have a better solution. Thanks!
