QCAD Libraries FAQ

1. What can I do with a QCAD Libraries developer license?

Such a license gives you the right to develop and sell commercial or non-commercial software that is based on the QCAD libraries and / or the QCAD sources itself.

2. Can my product be almost the same or the same as QCAD?

Your product may not compete with QCAD. Otherwise you would have to also become a reseller of QCAD technology and pay royalties per license sold.
Typically, your product does not compete with QCAD if it adds substantial functionality and is placed in a different price range. Please contact us if you are not sure whether your product would compete with QCAD or not.
