Re: Cannot start QCAD on Ubuntu 12.04 [solved]
I'm having a similar problem with re-install using Ubuntu 13.10 64bit. I can find the folder with qcad.txt in can't make it run. Any ideas on how to solve this please? I think I'm on version qCad Pro 3.0

Some odd behaviour with hatch and split entities - Beta3-3?
Hi Andrew
I'm running beta3-2 and have found some possible anomalies but not sure if they might be fixed already. When will beta 3-3 be released please. I'm quite enjoying the ad hoc testing!
Regards
Bob

How do I get the latest Beta 3 to test
Hi Andrew
How can I download the latest Beta 3 to test. I am submitting a few bug reports and some are proving to be duplicates. It would help to be testing against the latest cut.

If I download QCAD 3 beta and install will it over write any QCAD 2.* files or will it make an entirely new file structure so that I can run both? They share no files at all, so you can run them both, even simultaneously. I'm really enjoying QCAD by the way, it takes me back to a program called Des...

Unfortunately, it's an issue with Ubuntu 11.04 64bit which is not providing 32bit variants for all of its libraries. They say they will not fix this issue (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/783155). As a workaround, you can start QCAD with a non-GTK theme: E.g.: ./qcad -s...

Hi Andrew I have now got Qcad to be a usable productive tool for my research work diagrams. I would like to make a contribution and I guess the best way would be to purchase the licenced version which looks like an annual subscription. I'm running Ubuntu and will be upgrading soon to Natty. If I pur...

Curves (splines) cannot have an arrow at the end in QCAD. Please draw a short leader (see Dimension - Leader) at the end. Leaders can be so short that the leader itself is not visible, only the arrow. Thanks Andrew. I think I may have found an alternative. Unicode characters 27F2 and 27F3 do the jo...
