I have ubuntu 7.04 and installed qcad 2.0.5.0 (community). In the past I have used version 1.x of qcad under red hat based linux and it was everything OK. At this moment drawings from older version are moved (especialy descriptions in tables and dimensions).

The most important - printing. I have installed USB printer - Lexmark Z22 and when I click on print preview and then into print I do not have printer avaiable for printing my drawing. I can print as ps file only.

How to solve this problem?

For the printing issue, please refer to topic:

And about migration from QCad 1 to QCad 2, please refer to the user manual:

If you want to export to pdf use the cups-pdf package. After install it, you have to configure cups at http://localhost:631. Print normally with this virtual printer, and the draw with the name of __stdin__.pdf, it's placed in your home directory “PDF”. Then use your pdf reader to open it and print from it.

I use kubuntu 7.04.
