Scaling in Print Preview

I am having a problem in scaling my drawing to the paper.
I am using inch units with a 200 x 300 object size
This is being placed on a letter 8.5 x 11 inch page
Regardless of the scale factor that I use in the 'print preview' the drawn object is very much larger than the paper sheet.
In fact, as I change the scale factor there is NO change in the object apparent size.

I did try to export the drawing to IntelliCad and was suprised that the dimensions did not display on the exported file.

As always, please indicate QCAD version and platform.

You might want to try the auto fit button in the toolbar of the print preview to figure out at what scale the drawing fits best on your paper size.

Community Edition Ver:2.0.5.0 .. Ubuntu

Paper size set to 'letter' (11" x 8") and units set to inches in the drawing preferences.

Default for application preferances is also set to inches.

Drawing covers an area of approx 300" wide x 200" high. Dimension lettering 5" high.

If I go to 'drawing preview' and then 'fit to page' a scale factor of 0.22 .... is shown. This appears to be correct! However the page itself is only partially shown . Center to page is not helping.

In print preview I can scroll throughout the page and look at all elements but it appears that the page is not sizing down to the screen.

Help would be appreciated.
