How does CAM Expert compare to QCad?

How does CAM Expert compare to QCad?

I can see that CAM Expert is not based on the newest version of Qcad professional. Will it be updated? Is a license of CAM Expert an upgrade to QCad or something completely new purchase-wise?

Yes, it will be updated as soon as time allows. It is mainly a matter of porting it to all platforms and testing.

Usually it is a different purchase but I can offer an update price (CAM Expert price minus QCad price) if you contact me before your purchase.

Thanks for the reply and the offer. I have a CNC mill now and therefore I am principally interested, but first I want to come to grips with the hardware.
