Feature or Bug?

If I insert a object from the Library Browser that contains layers, when inserted in the drawing the layers show up in the Layer List but you can not turn visablity of the layer on or off. If I select Edit Undo followed by Redo the block breaks into the correct layers allowing the visablity of each layer to be turned on or off and you can edit each layer or remove the entities. I can't make up my mind as to this being a feature or a bug? Windows XP Pro 2.2.2.0 Pro.

Layers in a newly added block cannot be hidden, except for the layer, that contains the block. Entities, such as Lines etc. inside of that block/insert, that inherit their visual attributes from the layer they are on, will show up wrong.

Cut and Undo repairs the layers in the block. As does a Print Preview. As does a Save, Close and Open of the drawing.

I suggest this is a bug, not a feature.
