Allow a more extensive line width specification

I use cad for electronic circuit board layout. I would like to convert to qcad for this and replace the cad program I have used for many years. I would like to suggest the ability to specify a line width of a specified number of inches or millimeters which could replace the pick list you currently have for that. I believe that is the only shortcoming that prevents me from converting.
