I have not tested Qcad 3 yet, I'm on Debian Squeeze. :cry:

One wishes.
The command "ddatte" and "ddattdef" found in Autocad, which allows the text in blocks to be editable.
Is it possible to have a similar function in Qcad 3?

Sorry for my messy english.

Did you try the QCAD 3 Beta release on Debian Squeeze? What's the output?

I've added a feature request for this (for a post QCAD 3.0 release)

No, I never tested it, do you want me try the Ubuntu 32bit version?

Feel free to try the Linux package we have. It's not Ubuntu or OpenSUSE specific but these are the most popular distributions we support and test on.

Output :? :?:

root@pc010:~/opt/qcad-3.0.0-beta-prof-linux# ./qcad
./qcad-bin: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found (required by ./qcad-bin)

I have libstdc++6 version 4.4.5-8 :arrow: gcc version 4.4.5 ( Debian 4.4.5-8 )
Can't find GLIBCXX_3.4.14 in Synaptic

The same problem I guess:

Saw today that qcad 3.3.0 has block attributes, became a new qcad pro buy direct.
This will make life easier. :D

Many thanks to Andrew!
