Increment Text Labels

Is it possible to create text labels with incremental numbers such as "Label 1", "Label 2", "Label 3"? Or would a script be necessary to do this?

You can manually edit the text label while creating text entities in the options tool bar.

To automatically increment / change the text, a simple script could be created, yes.
