Hello everybody.
I am familiar with Autocad LT and Draftsight but new to QCAD.
Is there a way to move the origin of the drawing (reference pont for all the coordinates) ? It is a feature I used very often with other software but I cannot find in the reference manual.
If not, is it planned for future versions ?
Thank you very much.

Re: Move origin
Hi, and welcome to the QCAD forum.
QCAD does not support an UCS at this point.

Instead of moving the drawing origin, one can move everything relative to the drawing origin.
Ensure that you are able to select everything before moving, thincking of locked, hidden or frozen layers, ...
For coordinate input one can lock the relative zero and use relative notation.
Absolute coordinates are always related to the (fixed) origin of the drawing.
