How Do I - Post reference to another thread on the forum

Post by cmcgrath5035 » Wed Apr 16, 2014 1:43 pm

This might belong in a more generic forum location.

I tried to use the URL button to link to a previous forum topic in a new topic I was creating.
The URL was something like viewtopic.php?f=74&t=2851

Your spam blocker did not allow it,

Is there a way to create a click-able hot-link to another thread?

If the URL is not misspelled, this should work for links to qcad.org and other white-listed pages.
I can see in the logs that the link was starting with ttp: instead of http:. This was rejected due to the unknown protocol.

Ah so, I had pasted the URL, then highlighted it and pressed the URL button.

Obviously missed the "h" in "http:....."h''
