Reusable objects

Post by andrew » Tue Apr 28, 2015 10:46 am

From a QCAD user:
Is there a way I can design objects once and reuse them in other drawings?

Supposedly you could save them to the library, but I have not yet been successful at saving anything to the library.

nofate: You need write access to the library directory to add items to it. Especially under newer Windows versions this can be tricky to achieve. It might be easier to create a new library somewhere on disk where you know you have access and add your items to that library. You can tell QCAD about your new library under:
Edit > Application Preferences > Widgets > Library Browser
