Hello, I purchased some dxf files. All different types. I was wanting to make a landscape scene but when I open the "tree" file I dont know how to open the "cabin" file at the same time.
I hope this makes sense!! I hate trying to convey my thoughts...LOL!!
Thanks!!

Re: Using multiple DXF files
Hello kevenr17 - welcome to the forum!
To open a couple drawings at the same time go to:
Menu / File / Open
search for the directory where your drawings are in and make a selection of the drawings with:
1. for a "multiple" single file pick press the STRG Key on your keyboard and select each file with a left mouse click. Then click the Open button.
2. for a selection in row click the first file - press the SHIFT Key - and select the last file in that row. Then click the Open button.
Every selected and opened drawing will be now represented in his own register card / on top of your QCAD drawing area ...
