Hi,
if I use such as the 2 Tangents+Point tool on something like 2 circles I experience always a (for me) confusing result.
If I zoom in I can't really see that this should be a tangent transition:
1. Is there any kind of setting what I can change to get a much better result?
Second of all - I have many times problems to use successfully the "Break out segment" tool on something like that and if it works I have as a "Leftover" unwanted "Construction Lines" which I think are used from the tool for this task.
2. Do I have the possibility to avoid that?
For testing:

You can improve arc rendering quality in application preferences:

Tangents are tricky. In practice, they don't exist and there are always two intersection points or none. This has to do with the fact that computers only offer limited precision. You can usually work around that by creating an auxiliary line to clearly defining the intersection point.I have many times problems to use successfully the "Break out segment" tool on something like that
