Hello,
I'm using QCad 3.8.1 professional on OS X 10.9.5 .
I was doing some drawing today and noticed that there's no icon for making a block anymore in the left toolbar.
Also when I click on the icon for projection tools in the left toolbar, an empty toolbar shows up.
Everything is in the menu's though.
Is this a bug, or can I fix this somehow?
Regards, Peter

Re: Icons missing in left toolbar
Hello Peter,
you can customize the visibility/invisibility of Icons by yourself.
Please check the Application Preferences below: Edit / Application preferences / Tool Settings

Re: Icons missing in left toolbar
Hi Husky,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried those options, but when I turn them on I get an icon which is on top of the "line" and "points" icons.....
Starting to guess it's a bug

Re: Icons missing in left toolbar
The tool you are looking for is likely not the Create Block tool from example scripts but the Block > Create Block from Selection tool:
- Open Finder
- Choose menu Go > Go to Folder...
- enter ~/.config/QCAD
- Click OK
- Delete file QCAD3.ini
If you cannot fix your configuration, you can reset it by deleting the QCAD configuration file:- Open Finder
- Choose menu Go > Go to Folder...
- enter ~/.config/QCAD
- Click OK
- Delete file QCAD3.ini

Re: Icons missing in left toolbar
Hi Andrew, thanks for pointing out the difference between the two options:-)
The " looking weird" thing goes away once I restart QCad!
Als good to know you can reset everything by deleting the .ini file
regards, Peter
