Hi,
I have a CAD file that I need to work on; I recieved it in .dwg format (~6MB); each time I try and open it QCAD Pro (3.9.3) crashes. I have used DWG-DXF 1.40 to convert it into a .dxf (~44MB?) but this too crashes QCAD Pro. Occassionally I get as far as seeing the layer list fill with the various layers but then the crash occurs.
I am able to open both these files in progeCAD and eDrawings.
I am using a MacBook Pro Rretina, 13-inch, 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 and OSX 10.10.3
Can you help?
Best wishes,
David

If you can upload or e-mail the drawing file, I will have a look.

Hi,
I'd just like to publicly thank Andrew for resolving this issue for me; it was a problem with my OS X libraries.
He refused to give up and I'm now happily up and running, a job well done!
Best wishes,
David
