Problem with polylines again

Post by jvalencia » Sun Aug 09, 2015 7:46 pm

Qcad (3.9.7) is creating "self-intersected" polylines.

I created 2 circles and joined them with 2 tangents. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. Autotrim won't work in some examples too, don't know why.

I've attached a file with a "broken" polyline (in red, left).

What can I do to fix this?

Please elaborate. There's nothing wrong or broken about the polyline in your drawing as far as I can see.
I created 2 circles and joined them with 2 tangents. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't.
The tangent tool creates the tangent that is closest to the mouse cursor. There are four tangents possible between any two non-intersecting circles.
Autotrim won't work in some examples too, don't know why.
Please indicate where autotrim does not work as expected. Thanks.
