command key mapping?

Post by k4lpcm » Fri Nov 26, 2010 8:49 am

Hi guys,

I searched the forum high and low, as well as the docs... maybe I missed it, but is there a way to make whatever key (or combination of keys) be assigned to any command? As an old AutoCAD user, we would do this in the acad.pgp file. Since I like to keep my left hand and only left hand on the keyboard I like certain commands to be assigned to nonstandard keys.

Thanks in advance.

There's currently no way to customize QCAD in that way. QCAD 3 will offer a preferences dialog that lets you customize the short cuts and commands assigned to a tool.
