Dimension factor

I need scale a objet to fit in a format but the attributes change, ¿How can i increment the dimension in the scaled factor to get the real dimension in the format?
Use "sz". Modify, Scale.
Use values 0.5 (1/2 or original size) or 2 (double size) etc.
