crossing of dash dot lines

How can I quickly draw a crossing of dash dot lines so that in the crossing point are dashes?

All I can suggest is to draw the line too long, position it, then trim it. Very long-winded and prone to errors. I don't think Autocad can do this either, so QCad isn't alone!

That's exactly how I do it, but I hoped there was a method to do it quicker.
