Lineangle command line

Post by acunningham » Tue Aug 19, 2008 7:23 pm

I'm working on a drawing that uses the lineangle tool a lot. The steps that I'm using at present are quite laborious:

1. Press space with left hand to enter command mode.

2. Enter "la" with left hand.

3. Move the mouse pointer to the angle entry box, and click.

4. Enter the angle.

5. Press tab to move to the length box.

6. Move the mouse pointer to where I want the line to start, and click.

Is there a good way to do this faster? Ideally, I'd like:

1. Press space with left hand to enter command mode.

2. Enter "la 90,3" with left hand so set lineangle with angle 90 and length 3.

3. Move the mouse pointer to where I want the line to start, and click.

I've done some experimenting with the command line, but can't figure it out.
