Changing color of a parts library item

Post by ov10fac » Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:32 pm

I have been using the community version of QCAD for some time now and I am considering going to the Professional version to get the isometric capability. However, when I downloaded the parts library and tried to change the line color on some parts nothing happened. The parts are grey and I want them white, but nothing I tried works.

Thanks for any assistance.

Parts from the parts library are inserted as blocks. Entities inside blocks can have their own fixed color, inherit their color from the layer they are on or inherit their color from the block insert.

You can either change the color of the entities inside the block by editing the block or change the color of all entities inside the block to "ByBlock" or "ByLayer", whichever is more appropriate.
