Intermittent exit without saving

The latest version of QCad (qcad-2.1.3.2-1-prof.linux.x86) just quit without saving modified files. After about an hour of working (and several saves), I quit via the window manager, and didn't receive a prompt to save any unchanged files. Restarting QCad and loading up the files I was working confirmed that I had lost work. Strangely, I couldn't get QCad to do it again.

If I ever find a way to repeatedly cause this, I'll share it here.

If you quit an user application with a surrender windows management or system - this can be dangerous.

Basically, you have to quit every application in the windowing system itself first, then quit the underlaying system.

So while you working, it is save to press CTRL + s (save) at any time you think should be saved.

On a Linux/Unix system the system itself can in fact kill every program without asking you about to close or not.
