Qcad shuts down unexpectedly

On several occasions, Qcad has suddenly stopped for no apparent reason. It locks up for a few seconds, then the window closes. I have lost work a few times due to this - it is getting a bit frustrating. Is this the program doing this or the system?

There's no such bug known at this point with QCad 2.2.1.0. If you can provide any additional information about the problem, that would be helpful (e.g. what were you doing when this happened, could it be a problem of running out of memory, etc.)
You might also want to double-check that you are using the version you think you are using. Very often, users install a QCad version and then start an old one that is also still installed somewhere. You can check the version in the Help - About menu.
