Hello all,

please help, why am I not to be able to open a .dxf file with a size over 8 MB?

Is it my system ( I-Mac, 1.5 GB, OS-X10.4)? , Graphic-card?, or is there any restriction in Q-CAD (2.1.3.2) ?

I recieve many .dwg files and after converting they are often greater then 12 MB, up to 20 MB.
If I try to open it Q-Cad crash without a report! Smaller files work correct.

Please use your personal download link to update to the latest version of QCAD (2.2.2.0) and let us know if the problem persists.

your answer was helpful, with version 2.2.2.0 I am in the position to open .dxf files with a size over 8 Mb.

But my account is expired since a year ago !
