pdf has grown with only small changes to the drawing

I changed a drawing slightly last night and the pdf export suddenly grew from 2.5 MB to 10MB - a problem for sending by e-mail.

Is there something obvious that I have missed?

Please download the QCAD 2.2.2.0 update.

I had the same problem but it is due to version 2.2.2.0 (windows, QT version 4.4.1). The PDF output is about 4 times bigger than with version 2.2.1.0 (Qt version 4.3.4) Also, in the latest version output PDF not all of the lines are black but various shadres of grey.
