How to put text beside objects with distance?

Post by massimo » Fri Dec 05, 2014 7:09 pm

Putting text next to objects I like to have some distance since the first letter always strikes the line. Too bad there is no alignment like this available (future plans?).
So I just add a space in front of the text. The issue is now that after saving and reopening, the trailing space is removed. Why? I also tried with complex text instead of simple. I also did not find a setting for dropping trailing spaces or something. Any idea?

The stripping of leading / trailing spaces seems to be a bug in dxflib / QCAD Community Edition.
