14 Years QCAD

Today is something like QCAD's 14th birthday: 14 years ago, QCAD version 1.0.0 was released.

You can still find the original change log on the archive.org web site at:

One of the first public announcements on Linux Today is also still online at:

I wonder if some of the users of those first days are still around?

Happy birthday QCAD! :lol: Congratulation Andrew for this well done project!

I'm excited to see what will happen in the next (at least!) 14 years. 8)

I had a look at the program screenshots...what a long way from from that period!

Les captures d'écran ne donnent qu'une petite idée du chemin parcouru. Bravo pour avoir développé un produit performant, très convivial et surtout accessible sans se ruiner.

Indeed, what a wonderful thing you have achieved over the 14 years Andrew - my congratulations to you for QCAD. I echo the sentiments made by Husky and JJ.

I wish you good luck and prosperity for the continuing development of QCAD.
