Gmsh; Finite Element Analysis meshing generator (Free!)

I don't know how many people have seen or heard of Gmsh, but Gmsh is basically a freeware, multiplatform (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows etc) three-dimensional finite element mesh generator with built-in pre- and post-processing facilities. :!:

Cool hey? Not only can one now Q-cad, but you can gmsh too! Apparently it's not quite as powerful as ANSYS ( :shock: :!: :shock: ), but theses guys are getting there! 8)

Now there's absolutely no excuse whatsoever for building that aeroplane you've always been dreaming about! ;) :lol:

GetDP can assign displacements or loads to the regions, which are defined before you mesh the model in GMSH.

But you must have some theoretical background. As books or some manuals.
