Got the program to plot house, lot features, and possible future modifications.
As a retired civil engineer, I had relied on CAD operators to translate ideas into drawings. Now on my own, I'm stumbling along at best.
Knowing what I'd like to do, and getting it done are quite different, and I'm at the start of a long learning curve (cubic rather than quadratic? ).
Not sure this is the place to post my first question/issue, to which I have not yet found an answer: getting rid of intersection dots used to define fit points for splines.
I plotted a serpentine walk by using measurements (akin to station and offset in civil engineering) and entering them as intersection points. The splines worked, but I'm left with a multitude of unwanted dots (though set to the smallest point style I saw) that plot out and spoil the desired outcome. I can attach a pdf of the plot if it'll help.
How can I get rid of the dots in the printout?

I can see that there are indeed constructed point entities in that drawing.
You can choose to either delete them, isolate them onto a separate layer or reduce their line weight.
Deleting all points:
Layer > Show all Layers
View > Selection Filter
Choose Entity type: 'Point', then click the button to select: Edit > Delete
Isolating all points:
Proceed as above to select all points
Instead of deleting them, click the plus button in the property editor to create a new layer from the current selection: Name the new layer for example 'points'
When printing, make sure that layer 'points' is invisible
Once isolated to a separate layer, you could also easily reduce the line weight of all points to make them less visible for printing by changing that layer's attributes.

I opted to isolate, which will allow use one or more points as references for future constructs.
I have your book and the reference manual, and tried forum queries before posting, with no success. Did I just miss them, or are insights as those you sent rather unique and learned through usage, over the course of time, with forum and/or your help as necessary?

Knowing all the tools and features is one thing.
Putting them to effective use is probably a matter of experience and getting help here, yes.
