Hi,
I'm relatively new to CAD and are using it for shipmodeling. As such I would have an image of old plans from which I am building data. However as I've been experimenting I've found that when I've saved, closed and then returned to the program - the image has disappeared. The outline of where it was still highlights, and can be selected but the image itself is not visible.
Is there a reason this happens.
I've checked draft mode and normal and it makes no difference.
I've tried re-adding the image - it ends up on top of all my work, hiding it.
Any suggestions
Colin

Please note that QCAD does not store images inside DXF files (this is not possible). So the original image file still needs to be present on disk at the same location and with the same name after you have inserted the image.
For convenience, you might want to save the image(s) in the same path as the DXF, so QCAD can find the image even if you move the DXF and the image to another path.
