Basic question on drawing lines of a specific length

Post by rodantheman » Sun Jul 05, 2009 7:36 pm

Hello All. I'm trying to do something I thought was simple but I cannot figure it out. A look in the manual had not revealed the secret to me either. I'm drawing in a snap grid configuration. I'm just doing ortho drawing at this point. If I want to draw a line, I can start it, but how can I get the line to a specific length. I can drag a line to the left (so to speak) but I have to manually enter the endpoint. Is there anyway to point the mouse in the direction I need, and then enter something like 26.25 inches?

Thanks to whomever enlightens me!

I would type for example @20<45 where 20 is length and 45 angle.
