If I were to update existing drawings, I would like to "cloud" them to indicate that it is a new part of the drawing.

If your aim is to create a shape of a cloud, you can draw a sequence of lines and then round the cusps.

In my fork of qcad is it easy to draw cloud shaped objects by using polylines.

I think the "cloud" means what was defined by JAVA' s followers, not the clouds in the sky.
