Isometric donut

Post by vuokko » Sat Sep 12, 2009 6:25 pm

Hello!

Just studied QCad for a few days and I'm thinking am I doing something wrong. Anyway I was able to nicely creat isometric projections from book example and cupid blocks.

Now I'm thinking something circular to draw and no luck yet. How do I do isometric projection of a donut or something similar. Seems like normal heksagon nut is too hard for my capabilities.

Has anyone have good hints or tutorials how to do a nice donut. Recipies are also welcome :D

This seems to be difficult question, since no one elsa hasn't answered. I think the only way is to use ellipses.

Some 3d application would be better though.
