Surveyor Bearings

Post by Howard » Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:30 am

I'm new to QCAD and mostly familiar with AutoCAD and ProgeCAD. In these programs I can set units to 'surveyor units'. When I draw lines I can enter @125<N89d15'25"E to draw a line 125 feet long at this bearing. How do I accomplish the same in QCAD? Thanks.

Surveyor angle input is not supported at this point in QCAD but will be most likely included in QCAD 3.

For now, you could use any mathematical formula, if that is helpful.

@125<89+15/60+25/3600 should give the same effect.
