Hi All,
A couple of weeks ago I made a hash of upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04. So I used Hiren Killdisk and did a complete re-install with a downloaded .iso disk.
I installed Qcad from the repositories along with qt3, qcad.doc, partlibraries etc...
It's only recently that I have turned to Qcad for a small mechanical job and clicked on the manual to refresh my memory on a few points but the link was unresponsive.
Never one to pussyfoot about I removed Qcad and did the same install, just in case the Ubuntu updates had changed a few parameters somewhere in the background. But no go.
The path to the help files is /usr/share/doc/qcad
The installed version is 2.0.5.0-Free-1 [Community Edition]

Any help rectifying this problem would be hugely appreciated.
regards,
Dudley Bevan
PS. The FAQ has listed a seemingly identical problem and suggests deleting .assistant, so I did. It made no difference.
