PDFs

Post by ive » Tue May 11, 2010 12:09 pm

Hi there, I'm trying to find out whether it's possible to send CAD files out on a PDF so that archtitects can copy and paste the files and use them? They would need access to the full files not just a flat image. Is this possible? I am new to all this, so any help would be gratefully received! Thanks

I have QCad 2.2.2.0 on linux (fedora 13) and any attempt to export to pdf consumes 100% of the cpu for about a minute and then it crashes. Printing in general seems to produce the same result.

rwells: What drawing size / paper size do you use? Did you try this also with the example drawings that come with QCAD and with standard paper sizes? Thanks.
