Inserting a block into two different layers

Post by anlima » Mon Jun 14, 2010 4:18 pm

Hi,

I am trying to create a block and insert this block on different layers.
That worked quite well. The problem is, it seems that some of the inserts are on more than one layer.

What I mean can be seen in this simple example: http://rapidshare.com/files/398951446/test.dxf.html

There I have two additional layers. I selected Layer 1 and created a rectangle. I built a block from this rectangle. Then I switched to Layer 2 and inserted the block.

When setting visibility for Layer 2 to off, only the block on Layer 1 is visible (as expected). But if I set visibility for Layer 2 to on, for Layer 1 to off, both rectangles disappear. I would expect that only the rectangle on Layer 2 was visible.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug?
