Zoom and Snap

1. Auto-zoom includes the origin (X=0, Y=0). Usually you do not want this. Zoom should be to the extents of drawing entities and not include the origin.

2. Can we have a perpendicular snap onto the entity like most other CAD programs have? I use this a lot and can't understand why it has been left out.

That should not be the case and is not reproducible here. Please check if you have any points or zero length lines or arcs or other entities at 0/0. Try a rectangle selection around 0/0.

Problem fixed, thank you. Extra points at original did not show up in selection but could be de-selected.

QCAD 3 Beta 2 (2nd half of September 2011) will have a perpendicular snap tool.
