Moving entities to different layer

Post by philipslack » Fri May 18, 2012 6:26 pm

Just started working with QCAD3.0. In version 2.2 I could move an entity to a different layer by
selecting that line or group of lines and clicking on the layer name in the layer list. Is this not possible
in version 3.0 or is there an option I need to select to "turn this on?"
Thanks,
Phil

Moving selected entities to a layer by double-clicking the layer will be available in QCAD 3 final again.

For now, you can use the property editor:
- View - Tool Bars - Property Editor
- Select entities
- Change layer property in property editor

Hi Phil

In QCAD 3
Select the entities and from the property editor (main menu > View > Tool bars > property Editor) select the layer you wish to move the entities to move to.
